Terms of Service
Last updated: August 21, 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of the Musavise™ platform and services. They're written to be read — the short version: the free tools are really free, your data stays yours, and you're responsible for your own shows, deals, and fans.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Musavise™ website and services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If we make material changes to these Terms, we'll post them here with a new date; continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in certain jurisdictions) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. Your Account
You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity under your account. One person or act per account; don't share logins with people outside your project. Sessions sign out after a period of inactivity.
- Support access: to troubleshoot a problem, a Musavise administrator may open your account and see the toolkit as you see it. We do this only for a support or safety reason, the session is marked as an administrator's and expires within an hour, and nothing in your account is changed unless you asked for the change (see the Privacy Policy, Section 5).
4. Free and Paid Plans
- The free plan is real: every tool is usable free within honest, published limits, without a credit card. Free features stay free — a paid plan adds capacity and advanced access on top; it never takes away what you already had.
- The Professional plan, when available for purchase, is a subscription billed through Stripe, monthly or annually, and renews automatically until you cancel. Until then, the pricing page collects an email address to notify you at launch and nothing is charged.
- You can cancel anytime from the billing portal (linked in Settings). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for; your account then continues on the free plan with all your data intact.
- If a renewal payment fails, we keep your access while Stripe retries the charge for a grace period before your account returns to the free plan. Nothing is deleted either way.
- If we change prices, existing subscribers get notice before their renewal — no silent increases.
- Billing problem or refund question? Contact us at legal@musavise.com and we'll sort it out.
5. Supporter Tips
You can make a one-time tip to support keeping the free tier running. A tip is a voluntary contribution processed by Stripe — it buys no features, creates no subscription, and is not required for anything. Because it is a gift rather than a purchase, tips are not refundable except where the law requires. We keep a record of each tip (amount, date, Stripe's payment id) for accounting; if you delete your account, the record stays with its link to you removed.
6. Your Content Is Yours
You retain full ownership of everything you put into Musavise — your music metadata, press kit, fan list, agreements, all of it. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the Service: to store your content, display it back to you, publish the pages you choose to publish, generate your exports, and produce the analytics and AI guidance you request. This license ends when you delete the content or your account (except where we must retain records, like frozen copies of signed agreements for the parties who signed them). Separately, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable right to create de-identified, aggregated data from your content and activity — statistics that no longer identify you, your fans, or anyone else — and to use, publish, license, and commercialize those statistics for any lawful purpose. Because this data identifies no one, it survives deletion of your content or account.
7. Other People's Information
Fan contacts, guest lists, ticket holders, co-writer details, and signer information belong to real people. When you collect it through Musavise, you're responsible for having the right to use it: get consent, comply with the email and privacy laws that apply to you (such as CAN-SPAM and GDPR), and honor requests to be removed. Don't upload contact lists you don't have permission to use.
8. Not Professional Advice
- Musavise Score™ results, roadmaps, royalty estimates, AI advisor responses, and automatic transcripts are informational tools, not guarantees, and not professional advice. AI output can be wrong; check it before you act on it. Outcomes in the music industry depend on many things we can't control.
- Agreement templates are starting points written in plain language — they are not legal advice, and using them does not create an attorney-client relationship. For significant deals (record contracts, sync licenses, management agreements), have a lawyer review before you sign.
- Financial figures (mileage rates, fee comparisons, royalty math) are provided in good faith and kept current, but verify anything you rely on for taxes or major decisions.
9. Electronic Signatures
The agreements tool lets parties sign by typing their name or drawing a signature after confirming they intend it as their legal signature. We record the signature, the signer's IP address and browser, the time of signing, and a frozen copy of the document as signed, and make that record available to the parties. You and your counterparties are responsible for confirming that e-signatures are valid for your particular agreement in your jurisdiction.
10. Ticketing and Live Events
Musavise generates tickets, QR codes, and door tools for your shows — but we never touch the money. Ticket prices shown are display-only; payment happens directly between you and your audience, however you choose to collect it. You are solely responsible for your events: honoring tickets issued, handling refunds, complying with venue rules, capacity limits, age restrictions, and applicable laws and taxes. We are not the ticket seller, promoter, or organizer of your event.
11. Referral Program
Inviting other artists earns you bonus My Musaviser™ messages — 10 per artist who signs up through your link and completes onboarding, up to 100 banked at a time. Credit is carried in the invite link itself (no cookie), so the person you invite has to sign up from that link. Rewards are for genuine referrals — creating fake accounts, self-referring, or gaming the program forfeits rewards and may result in account suspension.
12. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
- Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications — including to fan contacts collected through it.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or the networks connected to it.
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without our written permission.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or publish a press kit or profile for an artist you don't represent.
13. Sponsored Content and Third Parties
Some recommendations in the Service are affiliate or partner links, always labeled "Sponsored." We may earn a commission if you sign up through them; this never changes what the free tools do or what advice you get. We may also surface partner offers in the product or by email (always with an unsubscribe); if an offer would involve sharing your personal information with the partner, we ask you first. Third-party sites and services you reach through Musavise are governed by their own terms and policies.
14. Intellectual Property and Trademarks
The Service itself — its design, text, graphics, logos, software, and content we created — is the property of Musavise and protected by intellectual property laws. This doesn't touch your content (see Section 6). You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our written consent.
- Musavise™, Musavise Score™, and Musaviser™, together with our logos, wordmarks, and product names, are trademarks of Musavise. All rights in them are reserved.
- You may refer to Musavise by name to describe or link to the Service (nominative fair use). You may not use our marks in your own product, band, service, or domain name, in advertising, or in any way that suggests we endorse, sponsor, or are affiliated with you, without our written permission.
- Third-party names, marks, and logos that appear in the Service belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only; their appearance does not imply affiliation or endorsement in either direction.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We work to keep the Service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Musavise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Musavise and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your events, your use of other people's information, or your violation of these Terms.
18. Termination
You can stop using Musavise and delete your account at any time; export your data first if you want to keep a copy outside the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Sections 5 (as to tip records), 6 (as to retained signing records), 14, 15, 16, and 17 survive termination.
